Inkvoice Is Now on iPhone and Android

The Inkvoice app for iPhone and Android is out. It’s free on the App Store and Google Play, it works with Inkvoice Cloud and with your own self-hosted server, and it doesn’t add a single tracker to your phone.

Most invoicing doesn’t happen at a desk. You finish a job at a client’s office, a payment lands while you’re out, or you pay for something you’ll bill back later. Until now that meant opening a laptop or making a note to do it later. Now it takes a few taps.

What you can do

  • See where you stand. Outstanding, overdue and paid totals on the first screen, plus revenue for the last six months.
  • Create and send invoices. Pick a customer, add items from your product list, and taxes and discounts are filled in for you. Share a PDF or a payment link through email, Messages or any app.
  • Record payments. Full or partial, by bank transfer, card, cash or check. The balance updates right away.
  • Keep track of customers. Every client’s balance, invoices and payment history in one place.
  • Log expenses. Snap the receipt, set the category, and mark it billable to a customer.
  • Lock it. Turn on Face ID or fingerprint unlock so nobody can open your books just because they picked up your phone.

Your server, your data

The app is a companion to Inkvoice, not a separate service. You sign in to the workspace you already have, and everything you do on your phone is already there when you open Inkvoice on the web.

  • Inkvoice Cloud: sign in with the same account you use at cloud.inkvoice.app.
  • Self-hosted: tap “Connect my own server” and enter your server’s address. Your server needs Inkvoice 0.3.1 or newer, the release that added sign-in for phones.

The app talks only to the server you choose. There are no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs in it, your sign-in token stays in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore, and your invoices aren’t saved to the phone. The details are in the privacy policy.

Try it without an account

On the first screen, tap “Try the demo workspace”. It opens a complete sample business with invoices, quotes, customers, expenses and payments, all on your phone, so you can try every feature before connecting anything.
